For Them

I lit this candle today for them...

Them, who was once with us in this journey

People who shared a portion of their life with us

They, who extended their love unconditionally

and touched our hearts wholeheartedly.

Our grand parents who watched us grow

Who spent their lives for our own

Who shared everything and gave it all

To us whom they loved and they cared most.

Friends who knew us, from the very start

Since the day that we met and started to laugh

They are those people who dreamt with us

Our friends that will forever be in our hearts.

Acquaintances and other people, we barely knew

But gave an impact in our journey too

We had met along the way, one stop over of our lives

And that moment stayed and gave us a brand new light.

Them, who crossed the line and left us all behind

Our loved ones whom we missed every single day of our lives.
