Stuttgart Offers More

Europe Journal 04

Stuttgart is the capital of the state of Baden-Württemberg in southwest Germany; the 6th largest city in Germany. It has variety of hills, valleys and parks and also tagged as the "cradle of the automobile."

We went to Stuttgart to visit relatives;

The Bauer family: Uncle Gerhard, Nanang Lita, Stefan and Erla

And tour is just secondary; but you cannot resist the beauty this countryside offers...

The city, just like most of the places in Germany is connected by train...

Stuttgart is known for its rich cultural heritage; the city offers Broadway-style musical theaters and museums and galleries.

Around 45 minutes (via train) from the city is town of Schorndorf, the town where Gottlieb Daimler, the father of automobile development, was born.

The Parish Church of Schondorf - dates back to 1275
